Shelley Driscoll, M.A., CCC-SLP

Shelley Driscoll graduated from Kean University with a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology in 2009. Shelley maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a member of the New Jersey Speech and Hearing Association (NJSHA).

Shelley has vast experience in working with children in school, outpatient and hospital settings. For the past 8 years, Shelly has evaluated and treated children with apraxia, articulation disorders, phonological processing disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, pragmatic language disorder and autism spectrum disorders.

Shelley’s approach to therapy is family-friendly within the motivational framework of play. She believes that all children want to connect with others through social experiences which inherently involve speech, language, and learning. She partners with families to help each child reach his or her highest level of function. Her area of special interest is working with young children with highly unintelligible speech, which is often due to childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) or a phonological processing disorder.

Shelley resides in Ocean County, New Jersey with her family.
