Carianne D’Oriano, M.S.Ed, M.Phil.Ed, LPC, NCC
Carianne is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Carianne’s goal as a therapist is to help improve your overall mood and increase your ability to deal with life stressors with more positive outlets.
Carianne received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The College of New Jersey and two master’sDegree in Professional Counseling at the University of Pennsylvania. Carianne is a Board-Certified Counselor and is a member of the American Counseling Association. Carinanne has worked in a variety of settings, providing individual, group, family counseling, school-based counseling and crisis intervention/management. With a focus on coping skills, self-esteem, social skills, stress management, anger management and building relationship skills.
Carianne is eclectic in her theoretical orientation which helps her focus on each individual’s unique experiences and goals while providing treatment. Carianne believes it is important to provide a nurturing and solution focused environment as a therapist. Carianne incorporates motivational interviewing, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy and family therapy in her practice.
Carianne has experience working in the following areas: anxiety, anger management, family conflict, mood disorders, stress management, parenting skills, ADHD, autism, crisis intervention, substance abuse, depression, trauma, loss and other life changing events.
Carianne resides in Monmouth County, New Jersey. And is dedicated to her profession and is passionate about working with children and families to improve their overall functioning.
